What to Expect

At MST Dental, we understand that a trip to the dentist is not the most anticipated appointment so we have trained our staff to make the experience as enjoyable, stress-free, and convenient as possible for you.

Making an appointment

You can make an appointment with one of our receptionists by either calling the office during business hours or by filling out the information form on the front page of our website, indicating your desire to make an appointment.  Our staff will work with you to schedule your appointment for the next available spot or for a date & time that best fits your schedule.  With 11 operatory / cleaning rooms, five X-ray machines (including a portable X-ray) and three doctors, we do our best to provide you with an appointment date & time within two weeks from your request date.  Emergency appointments can be worked in as soon as the day of the request – we recommend these appointments be made by phone.

Day of your appointment

We request that our patients show up 10-15 minutes before the appointment time in order to sign in and fill out the necessary forms (we know it’s trouble, but patient privacy, insurance, appropriate medical treatment rely on this information).  You may help us reduce your paperwork by visiting our forms page and filling out the available forms before arrival.

You should expect to meet a smiling, friendly staff as you arrive in our comfortable waiting area and proceed to the operatory room – both of which include televisions for your enjoyment throughout your visit.

A hygienist or assistant will escort you to the appropriate operatory with your weighting time kept as short as possible.  At the appropriate time, you will be visited by one of the doctors regardless of the purpose of your visit to consult with you about your dental care.

For standard preventative cleaning appointments, we recommend that you stop by the reception desk before your departure to schedule any additional needed treatment.
